Roy Gioconda

Director of Maintenance

Roy Gioconda brings more than 40 years of aircraft maintenance experience to his role as Director of Maintenance. He began his career in commercial aviation as a technician with American Airlines where he worked in line maintenance, overhaul and quality. Roy then transitioned to business aviation and has held leadership positions with several air charter operators including a previous engagement with FlightWorks as the Director of Quality. He also worked closely with business aircraft buyers and sellers at an aircraft brokerage. Roy led support organizations and product teams at CAMP Systems, Traxxall, IBM and most recently with Bluetail. He now ensures that FlightWorks aircraft are properly maintained, airworthy and that the maintenance organization exceeds customer expectations along with industry best practices and federal regulations. Roy is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, holds an FAA A&P certificate and is a member of the NBAA Maintenance Committee.
