Spring has sprung and what better way to enjoy this new season than to acknowledge it with the scents and views of blooming flowers. Each year from April 1-30, Skagit Valley, WA holds its annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. The festival showcases fields of blossoming tulips in addition to a street fair, parade, salmon barbeque, races (including running and bike rides) and a youth basketball tournament. There is a lot to see and quite a sight to see when visiting the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.
Skagit Valley is located in the Pacific Northwest, just 60 miles North of Seattle, Washington, near Mt. Vernon and Burlington, Washington.
